Trees Knees
Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves and tender stems, plus 2 sprigs for garnish
- 3 ounces fresh lemon juice (from about 3 lemons), plus slices for garnish
- 4 ounces gin
- 1½ ounces SAPJACK GRADE A AMBER SYRUP or SAPJACK BOURBON AGED SYRUP
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the thyme leaves and stems with 1-ounce lemon juice.
- Add the remaining lemon juice, gin, and maple syrup. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Secure the lid on the shaker, and vigorously shake the cocktail for 30 seconds.
- Fill two rocks glasses with ice. Evenly divide the cocktail between the glasses and garnish each with a sprig of thyme and a lemon slice.
